DD Portable

Hi Guys.
Have use DD portable on several computers over all platforms during the last cpl of days. I'm happy to report that DD is working fine for me with no issues whatsoever to report. There is one thing that users should be aware of though - don’t be fooled by Device Manager. On two occasions DD has found newer versions of drivers that Device Manager reported didn’t need updating.

Yesterday one of my customers had an issue with her Bluetooth not working properly on her laptop. I ran a scan with DD portable which reported back a driver update for her BT driver. Somehow the updated driver DD had identified wouldn't install over the top of the old driver. I ran a device manager Update Driver option which reported driver was up-to-date. To be absolutely sure the BT driver was up-to-date, I manually uninstalled the driver and then ran the driver DD had returned.
Hey presto -Bobs your Uncle- Bluetooth working fine now.

Just a few words to congratulate the DD team - DD portable is a support engineer’s dream.
