Device Doctor DONT WORK
Undecided[font=Impact]While I think it's nice that someone is putting something free out there, this thng just plain does not work right: I downloaded it, ran the scan, it said I needed 7 drivers. I downloaded them, they all seemed to install fine, I double checked with a similar download. I then uninstalled Device Doctor, and then re-installed it....ran the scan again, and it said I needed the exact same 7 drivers. Well, I repeated this process about 4 rimes, same result.

What gives??

Also, I see no "contact us" link anywhere.

RE: Device Doctor DONT WORK
You must restart the system after installation of all the drivers is finished...well you don't have to for normal use, but you must do so if you wish to run another scan.

Done and did that. Besides, when I uninstalled and reinstalled, that was a restart as well. No matter what I do, the scan resukt is the same. I have had this problem with similar programs. The scan result is the 7 same drivers................I dont get it.

RE: Device Doctor DONT WORK
Did these driver come with an executable installer (and installation proceeded fine for each)? Or were they raw driver files with no installer?

Also, if I remember correctly, there might be such problem where several drivers are packed in one big installer, I don't remember it being reported here but heard about it in connection with other driver update software.

That's common, not all hardware manufacturers (who produce the drivers) bother with that. The choice is yours.
If you are worried about that you should best stay with the drivers offered by Windows Update.

> then on one it said what I downloaded was corrputed

You can try to redownload, that might help. If not, it will not be installed thus it can't do any harm.
