Does Device Doctor automatically download 64 bit drivers

Hi:
I just joined the forum and started using Device Doctor. It recommended upgrading half a dozen drivers, which I downloaded.
My question,
Since I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, will Device Doctor "know" this and are the suggested drivers 64 bit? I figured I better check this before I install.

It should match your windows version with appropriate drivers, but errors or misidentification can happen such possibility can't be excluded.

Thanks for your rapid reply. It makes sense. Is there a way to check the driver to make sure? When I downloaded Intel or Real Audio drivers I don't recall seeing one way or another. One thing I can think of is trolling the site from which I made the download. I was wondering whether there was an easier way such as data base or code in the download that would tip me off?

I think some 64bit drivers have 64 as part of their file name. But it's also common that there is one driver installer no matter what the Windows version is. (For example audio driver for HP notebooks that I have just been checking has same file no matter whether W7 or Vista and no matter the bits).

If you need to be 100% sure, you'll have to download the drivers directly from the websites of the manufacturer.
