Help needed.
Hi Guys.

Was wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light with my problem updating a driver with Device Doctor.

I ran a scan with Device Doctor on my daughter system and found that the motherboard driver needed updating. However as you can see from the image, the download is displaying '0' bites once downloaded.

Sytem Info.

Any help would be very welcome

Thanks
Kev

RE: Help needed.
Hi Kev,

thank you for the report, it can be anything from some download problem on your side to problem on the server or with that file as stored in the driver database (it will be checked).

As a fastest way for you right now, please download the file directly from the manufacturer's website:

RE: Help needed.
Thanks for your reply Thomas.

Yes, I did download the driver that Device Doctor thought my system needed from the manufacturers website a cpl of days ago, however when i unzipped the driver and tried to install into the system it returned a message saying that i already had the newer version.

To be sure i didn’t need the driver i ran a scan with an updated version of Paretologic DriverCure which didn’t return the driver. I did another scan with Device Doctor and sure enough it returned the driver for update.

I Just thought id mention this so your developers are aware.
Keep up the great work guys
Regards
Kev.

RE: Help needed.
On my device manager it says

"Video Controller(VGA compatible)"

with a big yellow question mark, will running DD fix this?

The only way to find out is to run it I'm sorry. There are many reasons for a driver error, driver update (if at all available) can only help in some cases.
