When I scan for updates the progress bar moves pretty quickly to about 95% of its length and then will go no further. The whole thing stops. I would welcome some advice please.

RE: Starting DD
Is the Download driver updates section under the progress bar filled in with some data (Download update buttons...) ?

I didn't notice it before, but actually the green progress bar on my installation also goes to just about 95% and not 100%.

That's a visual glitch I guess (to be fixed), in case the driver update data are displayed than everything went fine.

RE: Starting DD
I'm getting a similar error, I begin scan and the progress bar (what little I can see of it) goes about 90% across then I get a network error -- application requires connection to the driver service. 5 could not resolve proxy http=127.0.0.1 ;host not found, Would you like to export your scan to internet enabled computer? -- I AM connected to internet. How can I get the scan to complete? Be advised I'm computer literate but not excessively. Wink

While numerous possibilities come to mind, I don't know what exactly could cause it I'm sorry, not to waste your time the fastest way would be to answer yes on "Would you like to export your scan to internet enabled computer?". The only difference is that you'll get the list of files to download in a html file instead in Device Doctor window.

Ok so I said yes, it downloaded, I saved and began scan again, and same error pops up <sigh>

RE: Starting DD
What I suggested wasn't a way to fix the problem, but an alternative way to get to the driver download links.

You shall get a list of download links that way, in a html file that can be opened in your web browser by double-clicking on it.
With each link (that you'll choose to use, you definitely don't have to install everything that's suggested) you shall download the installer through that link, then run the installer file to actually install the driver update.
