Wrong Operating System Drivers
For some reason I'm getting Vista Drivers when my operating system is XP.
The correct drivers would be for Windows XP. List of drivers the Device Doctor says I need:
(1.) Wacom Mouse Monitor (4d36e96f-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318)
(2.) Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard (4d36e96b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318)
(3.) PhotoSmart P1000 (f159cb2a-6f87-11d2-b1e5-0080c72e74a2)

Thanks for any advise I could get

Mike

RE: Wrong Operating System Drivers
Thank you Mike for the report !

Fastest way would be to get them from the website of the manufacturer:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...ps-12908-1
for Photosmart, though this one seems to have enjoyed last update in 2003 so chances are you'll not need it

Wacom drivers are available from http://www.wacom.com/downloads/drivers.php

Thomas:

Device Driver tells me I need a newer keyboard driver. This Logitech plain vanilla
keyboard runs off of the Win7 (x64) OS. I never heard of such a thing? May I
suggest you having a 'Don't install Driver' option?

Thanks, Donald

Thank you for the suggestion Donald.
(I'm sorry for late reply, earlier forum configuration changes left your message unapproved for some reason.)
