audio driver help

Hey i have the freeware so i have to manual install but everytime i try to install the audio driver it doesnt give me a option to i unzip the rar look at the folders and nothing i have a hp dv6700 laptop with windows xp but i still cant get anything can u all really help me im at a loss

If it's RAR archive, you can use for example Unrar to unpack it, eg. from http://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm

Or better yet you can check HP website, their support section might have the audio driver for your system coming with more comfortable executable installer.
