Have Vista and I dont seem to be able to install the scanned drivers for Windows.The program wants me to download the installer every time.It says the installation was installed but it continues to show up in the scan.The updates were for the mouse and keyboard. I guess you could say they were HP updates or not....

It's a known problem that drivers still keep showing up, please ignore it. As long as you have finished installation, all shall be fine.
(Moreover mouse and keyboard drivers are usually not that important to be kept up to date anyway, most of the time they even work fine with just the generic driver coming with Windows.)
