need help --lost???

I'm new and completely lost??
I ran a scan and it listed 5 drivers that needed to be up dated. I made a restore point for each and downloaded the updates. I opened them and unzipped them. From this point I was lost. so I ran another scan and it showed the same 5 drivers that needed to be up dated. It seems that they were not installed and I don't know how to install them
I don't know what to ask for now except that i don't know what to do.
Can you help me?

After unzipping, did you run the installation? Usually setup.exe or install.exe, if not found then any other executable that could be located in the folder unzipped.
If there are no files with .exe extension but there are some files with .inf extension, you can right-click on such file and choose Install from the pop-up menu.
