If you wanted to keep it all as a single file, make it an SFX of some type (WinRAR, 7zip, etc). It will extract to a temp folder, then remove that folder when complete. I always package things like this into SFX files as it keeps things cleaner. Only drawback is when portables try to save something to local files - then the SFX method doesn't work.
