i download driver but get a directory

Hi Johnny, welcome to the forum.
If there is an executable (setup.exe, install.exe) run it to proceed with installatioin.
If there is no executable, open Control panels in Windows to add new hardware and at one point few clicks later you will be asked to point to the driver files - point to this folder.
