A portable version would be very useful.

I also think some form of highlighting on the results would help, showing where the drivers are most out of date (generations and/or date wise). A RAG traffic light system or maybe shown warm through very cold. Like the filter suggestion, this will highlight where the priority updates should be made. A driver jump from version 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 issued over two months may not matter too much but it might for 1.0.0 to 3.0.0 issued two years apart.
