Will Device Doctor work with Windows 2000? (I read it is only supported by Window XP and higher) And, will it detect a driver that was accidently deleted? (VGA controler) I have an older Dell laptop. Thanks for any information!

RE: w2k
Windows 2000 is not supported.
But I'm sorry I got no idea whether it might actually work (I guess that if it will work, driver detection rate will be significantly lower than with XP) - you can try to download it and run it, worst that can happen is that you will waste 10 minutes of your time.

RE: w2k
Thanks for understanding. (I don't have access to developers right now to ask about that nor access to Windows 2000 installation to test myself, and didn't want to provide the standard dull "not supported I'm sorry" answer....though yes mine wasn't much better I'm afraid.)
