Device Doctor is exactly the program i've been looking for for months.

Most compareable programs are shareware and only scan for new drivers but want you to pay for the download.

Yes, it's really helpful, no more crawling through hardware manufacturers websites.
(I was only marginally aware such type of software exist, so had to do it all the hard way in the past.)
After being guided to Device Doctor, oh was I surprised at the number of outdated drivers I had, despite the occasional manual updates of some key drivers!
