Please check that Device Doctor is not blocked by your security software or in your firewall from accessing internet.

I downloaded Device Doctor on a new laptop because before I also bought Device Doctor Pro for my Toshiba laptop and was happy with it. But now on my new Dell when I want to scan there is an error when the software scans Samsung SSD PM830 2 5 7 and the whole process stops. Is there any way to solve the problem?

You can try to re-install, that might help in some cases, also granting the program full system rights in your security software and closing all other programs running before starting the scan might help.
You can also try to install Device Doctor Pro on your laptop - single license code can be used for installation on up to two computers.
